A tradeline is a credit account on your report. You can pay to have someone’s credit card history added to yours by buying a tradeline. It’s similar to having a post office box; you don’t live there, but you get the benefit of living in the zip code.

How long does it take for the tradeline to reflect on my credit?

It depends – the account can show up as soon as 10 days from now or 45 from today. We’ve made it easy for you to know when it will report. If you look at the table at the top of this page, the Expected Reporting Timeline is the date range you should expect the tradeline to be added to your credit report.

⚠️ 🛑 Do you accept tradelines on CPN, ITIN, or EIN profiles?

No. We do not! Tradeline Works accepts only SSNs issued by the U.S. Social Security Administration. Using a CPN on a credit application is a violation of federal law punishable by up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. (18 U.S.C. §§ 1001, 3571 (2020).) We have no tolerance for fraud and complete the highest level of identity verification. So, Credit Privacy Number (CPN), synthetic SSNs, or fake identity is strictly prohibited. We do not offer refunds for fake SSNs. All personal data goes through third-party identity verification, and if we find the information you provide is fraudulent, we will report you to the appropriate government authorities (Feds and the Social Security Administration).

While you’re on the tradeline, the account status will show as an open account. Once you stop making payments, the tradeline will show up as a closed account on your credit report.
